Be yourself.

This is possibly the last of the Revolutionary Tuesday videos. It was an interesting experiment; if I do start doing it again, it’ll definitely be different. Thanks for watching!

In this video, I talk about how difficult it’s been for me to make these Revolutionary Tuesday videos, and what I learned from the experience.

I think your hair looks cute, my love.

Thanks, honey. (:

I didn’t even look in a mirror before I turned the camera on! I was afraid it was super frizzy. It gets super frizzy sometimes.

I guess I got lucky. *silly grin*

That was your most revolutionary video yet. Waking up and being yourself is a revolutionary act. And those voices of self-doubt? Kick ‘em to the curb, girl.

Darlin’, if the shoe doesn’t fit, you don’t have to wear it. Except maybe at weddings, where women all seem to make their feet miserable.

Great love,

Applause! This is definitely the most revolutionary one of the bunch.

Being real, putting your heart out there, looking at your own stuff and sorting out what’s genuine and what’s bullshit (and what might just be an experiment) is about the most revolutionary thing there is.

Kyeli’s right, your hair is perfectly cute. :)

You’re one of the most revolutionary people I know. Seriously.

I can’t tell you how much I love this video. I keep watching it over and over.

Goosebumps and tears every time.

Having trouble finding the words, other than to say this was exactly what I needed tonight.

Huge hugs. xoxoxo

@nw: Thanks. That means a lot to me.

@Victoria: *huge hugs*! I’m so ridiculously happy that this spoke to you in such a way. oxoxox!

You know, i’m in group therapy (which I highly recommend). It’s an intimacy group for people who struggle letting their defenses down. About 8/10 of the time, the people in the group behave the way you behaved in the first videos which is not terrible but it’s more of a performance than an interaction. And, basically, it’s the reason we’re in the group. Because we are scared to stop performing, and it has caused us trouble in our lives. Anyway, the other 2/10 of the time, we let our guard down and we’re brave and present and not performing. Inevitably, everyone falls a little in love with whoever is doing that, because apparently when we are raw and authentic we are at our most attractive/connect-able. I am not talking about romantic love, here. I’m talking about the kind of love that starts revolutions. :P So, yeah, anyway, good one Pace. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it.

Thanks, Kristina. I definitely do struggle with letting my defenses down, and I hugely appreciate your comment.

You know, it’s like love in another way, too. When you try too hard, you fail at finding love. But when you stop trying so hard, love finds you.

I agree with every comment in here. Plus, your hair isn’t just cute, it’s fun. :)

I absolutely love your honesty on this, and I can really feel you on where your coming from. My only question, did someone say something to you?

Pace,
This video is amazing, powerful, inspiring and oh so much more. And yes, I agree the hair works also.

@Tanya: Thanks! (:

@Hayden: There’s been a lot of spirited debate in the comments. It was pretty stressful for me. It was part of the “revolutionary” package that I had in my head, but in the “new revolutionary” idea, it’ll be less about spirited debate and more about finding our Right People. Thanks for asking. (:

@Christine: Thank you so much!!! (:
